The Central Rivers AEA School Improvement Team partners with schools and districts in the continuous school improvement process. The team provides support based on your current needs to increase student achievement and well-being by addressing the five conceptual areas within the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework:

Iowa Code for Competency Based Education (CBE)

Students demonstrate learning from situations outside our classrooms all the time. Sometimes they happen in other classes, sometimes from outside school experiences, and yet they often relate to the same content we are trying to teach. Just because the learning didn’t happen in front of a teacher in a classroom during a traditional class period doesn’t mean a student can’t earn credit for that learning. Iowa Standards for School Leaders (ISSL) Leadership Coaching

The earners of this micro-credential will demonstrate growth in their coaching and feedback practices. This micro-credential can be stacked with the Iowa Standards for School Leaders (ISSL) micro-credential to obtain Evaluator Approval credit.
