Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) training is coming in April

Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) workshops are on April 14 and 21 at the Marshalltown CRAEA office.

Summary

Central Rivers AEA is offering professional development on the Collaborative Problem Solving Model in April in our Marshalltown office!

Are you looking for a practical, evidence-based approach to supporting students with challenging behavior – while also strengthening adult–student relationships? Join us at the Marshalltown Central Rivers AEA office on April 14 and 21 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm for the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS): Essential Foundations workshop. (Coaching will be available via Zoom following the learning).

This workshop will provide the tools to help you look past a student’s outbursts and see the struggle beneath. Instead of asking, “Why won’t this child behave?”, you’ll learn to ask, “What is making this so hard for them?” You’ll walk away with practical ways to build stronger bonds and help students handle difficult moments with more confidence. Register online to save your spot! Reach out to Dr. Dana Miller or Shannon Sterling with questions.
