Central Rivers AEA is launching a new mentoring and induction program to help new teachers and their mentors succeed. This comprehensive, two-year series is designed to strengthen classroom teaching, boost student achievement, and meet Iowa’s official mentoring requirements. The program offers 20 hours of learning throughout the school year, tailored to both roles:
- New Teachers: Focus on learning, teamwork, and coaching aligned with Iowa Teaching Standards.
- Mentors: Build essential coaching skills to effectively support new educators.
Participants who join for the 2026-27 school year will also have the opportunity to continue into the Year 2 program for 2027-28. School districts can share their interest by completing the online form. More details and official registration links will be available soon. For questions, please contact Bradi Johnson or Lacey Bruhn, course facilitators.
