Implementation assistance, information, and resources

Central Rivers AEA Technology Support Services provide a wide range of assistance to school districts within our region. Provided services include network design, installation, and diagnostic services; router, firewall, DNS, e-mail, and other support services for wide area networks; and Internet service aggregation and support.

We also provide server/desktop support for hardware and operating systems, including planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance. Support includes resource management, performance tuning, computer security, and troubleshooting services.

We provide repair services for a broad range of equipment. As an Apple authorized Service Center, we provide both warranty and out-of-warranty repair on the complete Apple line of products. We provide service for many brands of Windows based PCs and stock a complete line of parts for Windows based products. Service is provided for printers and other computer peripheral equipment. Repair services are also provided for video and audio visual equipment including most brands of VCRs, camcorders, televisions, overhead projectors, and other A/V equipment. Our technicians hold Apple, Microsoft, and CompTIA certifications.

Technology Repair and Support Service

We are a service center providing repair and support services to school districts within AEA 267. We provide support for a wide range of computer and video equipment. As an Apple Authorized Warranty Service Center we maintain a large inventory of Apple parts providing quick turn around on both warranty and non-warranty repairs. Our technicians also hold CompTIA A+ as well as Microsoft MCSE certifications, providing expert support for Microsoft Windows based computer / server equipment. Our CompTIA Network + and Cisco CCNA certified technicians provide a full range of network design and support services.

ICN- Iowa Communications Network- Video, Internet, Phone, and Data Services

The Iowa Communications Network (ICN) is the country’s premier distance learning and state government Network, committed to providing Iowans with convenient, equal access to education, government, and healthcare. The Network makes it possible for Iowans, physically separated by location, to interact in an efficient, creative, and cost-effective manner. ICN provides high-speed Internet, data, video conferencing, and voice (phone) services to authorized users, under Code of Iowa, which includes: K-12 schools, higher education, hospitals, state and federal government, National Guard armories, and libraries.

PRTG is an advanced monitoring system providing detailed, customizable statistics.   Traffic is monitored from the perspective of the Central Rivers AEA router. In other words, outgoing traffic is outgoing from our router into your network. Incoming traffic is coming into our router from your network.

PRTG requires a username and password to access.  If you do not have a username and password, contact AEA 267 Tech Support for your districts credentials.
