Targeted Case Management (TCM)– 641-484-4191 -Medicaid Targeted Case Management (TCM) is a service that manages multiple resources for Medicaid members. It is designed to help persons with intellectual disabilities, brain injury, or developmental disabilities gain access to appropriate and necessary medical services and interrelated social and educational services.

Food Pantry – 319-472-4743 – The food pantry dispenses food to Benton County residents who are experiencing an emergency need for food.

General Assistance – 319-472-4744: Provides assistance on a temporary basis for a limited period of time. It can be used to pay for basic needs that include rent/lot rent; interest on the original mortgage; utilities such as gas, electric, and water; burial; and food vouchers for clients who are unable to work.

Genesis Development –  319-444-3211 – Provides opportunities, choices, and supports for people with disabilities.  Member services include residential services, group homes, discovery program, employment services, mental health services, transition services, crisis intervention, as well as Explorers Day camp.

Targeted Case Management (TCM): 319-334-7450 – Each county has a plan for providing targeted case management. TCM’s work with individuals with the following disabilities: Chronic Mental Illness, Mental Retardation, Brain Injury, or Developmental Disability. The consumer must be Title 19 eligible. The TCM role is to assist the consumer in identifying their goals and needs, finding a way to meet those needs through various service options, and finding a funding source. The TCM then follows the individual to monitor progress towards goals and further assist in any coordination of services. County Social work is also a service that is provided. County Social workers have a similar role as the TCM except they may work with individuals who are not Title 19 eligible.

Iowa Northland Regional Transit Commission (319-233-5213) The Iowa Northland Regional Transit Commission (RTC) provides transit services within the INRCOG region. All services are open to the general public, including persons with disabilities. In addition to providing transit, RTC is responsible for coordinating transportation in the region.
