Unlock the power of Executive Function: empowering educators to ignite student success

Summary

Central Rivers AEA is offering a practical workshop on June 3, 9 or 10 to help educators support students’ executive functioning skills with ready-to-use classroom strategies and tips for partnering with families — license renewal included.

Educators are invited to take part in a practical, hands-on workshop on June 3 (Cedar Falls), June 9 (Clear Lake) or June 10 (Marshalltown) focused on helping students build essential executive functioning skills — like time management, organization and task initiation — that support both academic achievement and everyday success. Participants will walk away with ready-to-use strategies for the classroom and tools to better support students who struggle with focus, procrastination, and study habits. The session also explores ways to partner with families to reinforce these skills at home and meets requirements for license renewal.
