Caitlin Clark versus a Rubik’s Cube, are you up for the challenge?

The Rubik’s Cube, traditionally thought of as a toy, is also a fascinating tool that can be used to explore various topics in teh classroom. In the same way that Caitlin Clark plays basketball, solving a Rubik’s Cube requires the right mindset, determination, and help from your team. As an educator, you have the opportunity to motivate your students and encourage them to embrace challenges and develop their problem-solving skills while working together. This activity can also promote creativity in graphing, problem solving, and recognizing patterns. Would you like to create mosaics with your students to foster hands-on learning experiences, problem-solving skills, perseverance, and engagement? One of our Rubik’s Cube Mosaic Builder Kit includes 200 cubes (4 kits available, 800 cubes total) available for the districts we serve. Choose your project from completed templates, or create your own like the examples below.

With 800 Rubik’s Cubes in our Media collection, you can level up your teamwork strategy in the classroom and challenge students to create a mosaic, like University of Iowa student Brian Dang (pictured left) created an image of Caitlin Clark out of Rubik’s cubes! It took about one week and 720 cubes to complete this portrait. Check out the full article here.
