Experience immersive learning with the Digital Starlab

The Digital StarLab is a compact, manually operated, user-friendly planetarium projection system designed to produce the best quality images while being portable. Central Rivers AEA has two Digital Starlabs that have traveled all over Iowa this year. Since August 2024, the Starlab has been utilized in over 35 different classrooms and districts, some pictured below, reaching hundreds of students. Educators create lifelong, memorable learning experiences by incorporating a Starlab during instruction, STEM day activities, or other school events.

It has been an awesome way to expand on our research of the sun, moon, stars, planets and constellations with the different grades! This week wouldn’t have been possible without our Central Rivers AEA loaning us the planetarium, so big shout to them for once again being such an amazing resource for our school!
