Essential Skills

  • Competitive Employment Skill Sheet * – (Living, Learning, & Working) This assessment includes basic skills in the area of work and a few skills related to living and learning.  Skills included are self-determination, academic and lifelong learning, daily living, health and physical care, mobility, money management, social skills, and workplace readiness skills.
  • Northwest AEA Working Assessment Rubric * – (Working) This rubric allows users to assess basic working and learning skills.  The rubric uses a 1-5 scale for completing assigned tasks, dependability, working as a team, accepting directions/instruction, and job seeking skills.
  • The Field Hoffman Self-Determination Assessment Battery –  (Living, Learning, & Working) The Field Hoffman Self-Determination Assessment Battery uses five instruments to measure cognitive, behavioral, and affective traits to determine levels of self-determination.  Perspectives are gathered from students, parents, and teachers.

  • Employability/Life Skills Assessment – (Living, Learning & Working) This detailed assessment provides the opportunity to assess broad skill areas and specific skills such as self-help, work habits, work quantity, work quality, relationship skills, and work attitude.

Comprehensive Skills

  • Employability/Life Skills Assessment – (Living, Learning & Working) This detailed assessment provides the opportunity to assess broad skill areas and specific skills such as self-help, work habits, work quantity, work quality, relationship skills, and work attitude. In addition, progress can be tracked over time for ages 14 to 21.
