Central Rivers AEA has prioritized meeting the well-being needs of our students. We are dedicated to providing supports and services to schools, students and families. Due to the gravity of concerns Central Rivers addresses the needs through various means. We believe that a comprehensive, whole child approach is required to meet current needs. This approach includes proactive/prevention supports, intervention supports and crisis response to truly meet the needs.

MTSS for Well-Being addressing the social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs of ALL students.

The research clearly shows that schools are in a unique position to help build student’s skills that will help them cope with life stress and social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns. This can be done in multiple ways. These include providing staff with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to understand and support students and families, developing a comprehensive system that teaches, models and practices social, emotional, and behavioral skills.

The Central Rivers MTSS for  Well-Being team is dedicated to providing comprehensive services and supports to meet the complex needs of the students we serve.
