Credentials for Child Care Careers (C4) Grant is accepting applications through March 29

Summary

The Credentials for Child Care Careers (C4) Grant helps Iowa school districts offer students a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) through Family and Consumer Science (FCS) programs, by building partnerships with local child care centers to enhance the child care workforce. Apply by noon (12 pm) on March 29 to be considered for this grant!

  • The Credentials for Child Care Careers (C4) Grant supports districts in providing students with a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) through local Family and Consumer Science (FCS) programming while building the child care workforce through community partnerships with licensed child care centers.
  • Interested districts will receive a department-approved early childhood curriculum aligned to the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
  • Iowa school districts with an Early Childhood Education or FCS career and technical education program (including consortia members) are eligible to apply for the grant.
