May TAG Challenge – TED talk
May 2021 TAG Challenge – TED Talk
We can’t believe it, but it’s time to post the final TAG challenge of the 2020-2021 year. We are excited to offer the final TAG challenge of – TED talk! We want to hear from YOU!
One of the goals of TED talks is to “spread great ideas.” For this month’s challenge, we want you to create a TED talk that will be recorded and shared. As always, you are welcome to work with a team – only one of you needs to be the “speaker” if you choose. Your team has plenty to work on – writing the script, filming, editing, creating a background if you like – there are plenty of jobs for everyone.
Your topic can be about anything you like (while remaining “school appropriate.”) If you are struggling for ideas, TED Talk has this list of possible topics that might get you thinking! We’d like the video to be less than 7 minutes long if possible. You also do not have to memorize the presentation – but be creative in how you could present the information without just reading to the camera.
Supplies you might need:
Recording device, background, script to follow, poster board for cue cards, editing software (such as iMovie)
How to submit:
You will submit by using this Google Form. The form will allow you to upload a file, submit a URL, and provides us with permission to use your images. We also highly encourage you to share your submissions through Twitter (but please still submit it through the Google form as well) and use the hashtag #CRAEAtag. Feel free to tag us on Twitter!
