Promoting discourse in math

The Central Rivers AEA Math Team has created Promoting Math Discourse, self-paced professional learning that may be helpful in your PD planning. The focus is to become familiar with technology tools to implement routines and tasks that allow students to discuss their thinking and explore their reasoning. This approximately one-hour session housed in our Math Blog is appropriate for K-12 teachers of math as they are able to choose and engage in activities that are appropriate for the grades they serve.
